The location of this hostel is great, with easy access to a cheap and good-quality supermarket nearby. The atmosphere is friendly and social, creating a positive vibe among guests. The beds are stable and come with individual electricity connections, providing convenience. Despite some cleanliness issues, the kitchen manages to stay clean and the staff are generally friendly. The over-all feeling of the hostel is good, and the breakfast includes delicious pancakes, a refreshing change from standard hostel fare.

The common room is not open 24/7, which can be inconvenient for backpackers with different schedules.

Excellent value and good fun as a group. 'Does exactly what it says on the tin!'

    The location.

Hostel staff did nothing about a group of outright abusive guests who kept the entire dorm up for 2 of the 3 nights I spent there. What's the use of paying for a place to sleep in when you can't even do that.

During my recent stay at a hostel in Brighton, I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements made by the new management. The addition of swipe card entry locks provided a sense of security, and the refurbished lounge/bar created a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the highlight of my mornings was enjoying delicious pancakes for breakfast. my experience at Home Brighton Backpackers was enjoyable and satisfying. I would definitely recommend this hostel to fellow travelers.

The beds had curtains, so you could feel a little bit cozy, but the same time they lacked personal light if you'd like to read sth.

1 shower and 1 toilet for aprox. 30 peoples are a little bit too less... Also rooms were very small .

We had a great stay at this hostel! The location was perfect, right by the beach and with a cool bar downstairs. The staff were super friendly and helpful, from the morning cleaner to the breakfast organizer. The room was nice, although a bit cold, but the bed made up for it with its comfort. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise, especially the delicious butter and jam. We felt safe throughout our stay and were able to enjoy the beach and come back late at night. The price was also very reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we will definitely be back!

    Everything was spot on! 😊

the location was excellent. Staff on 24 hrs was v good, making coming and going easy and safe. thought the rooms worked well. had a very good night's stay. i liked the lounge and eating area. shower toilets clean and room.

would have liked somewhere more easily accessible to lock back pack? and was told breakfast included then had to pay 50p for hot drink?

Excellent staff, helpful and friendly. Convenient location, 10 mins walk to station and pier. Free breakfast with toast, cereal, and pancakes. Comfortable beds with curtains and plug points. Cosy atmosphere and good crowd of customers.

1.The little curtains around the bunk beds and the reading light, and the fact that my bed (room 1, bed H) was right next to an open window. 2 There are plenty toilets and showers. Nice walking distance to tourist attractions and shops. The reception girls are very sweet and helpful.

    1. The way the bunks are constructed, if you happen to have a restless sleeper on the bunk above you then it is impossible to sleep one wink and in the morning when you get up you feel like you've been on a see-saw all night. Whenever the person above you moves, it moves your mattress too! 2. The showers are changing continuously from ice cold to too hot and you can do nothing about it. 3. The "music" in the communcal lounge/dining room is often extremely loud.

Great location - within walking distance to many attractions and amenities. Convenient for exploring the city. Decent breakfast - although limited options, the breakfast provided was acceptable. Comfortable beds - the beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.

Limited facilities - there was a shortage of toilets and showers, causing inconvenience and long waiting times. Noisy at night - due to its city location, the hostel can be noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep.

The reception area is pretty cool to hang out in, especially if your on your own...

It would be a good idea to have some lockers in rooms. Also, the first day I stayed, the water in the shower was boiling hot, I couldnt shower as Id have gotton burnt, and then the second day, it was freezing cold! Also, the sink was hanging off the wall! Im sure it was hanging off the wall the last time I stayed which was about 8 months ago..
